Former Secretary of Veterans Affairs Endorses Wright for Congress

We are pleased to announce that Anthony Principi, former United States Secretary of Veterans Affairs, has officially endorsed Douglas Wright for Congress.

“As a former member of President George W. Bush’s Cabinet as Secretary of Veterans Affairs, a U.S. Naval Academy graduate and combat veteran of the Vietnam War, I have an understanding of the attributes that distinguish men and women of leadership, courage and integrity that define the values needed in our Congress," says Principi. "Doug Wright is such a man. I urge you to cast your vote for him.”

Principi was appointed by President George W. Bush in 2001, and he served in that position until 2005. Principi previously served as Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs (appointed by President George H.W. Bush) and Republican Chief Counsel to the Senate Armed Services Committee.
